Six New Handshake TLDs Launched Through the Namebase Registry

Following the launch of .JS and .TXT, six new TLDs are available for domain registration: .API, .BASE, .C, .ZEN, .MKE, .GIN

Namebase has partnered with Encirca.com, 101domain.com, and Gateway.io to offer domain registrations for Handshake TLDs. The new TLDs are currently in Trademark Sunrise until September 1. During the sunrise period, only trademark holders can register Handshake domains on Encirca and 101domain. Gateway will support general registration after September 1.

Encirca

Encirca is the first ICANN Registrar to integrate directly with the Namebase Registry and support Handshake domain registrations. As one of the few SOC 2 certified registrars, Encirca is a highly secure registrar that is leading the space in supporting defensive registrations for new TLDs, including TLDs based on blockchains such as Ethereum, Zilliqa, and now Handshake.

You can search for and purchase Handshake domains at encirca.com/handshake, or visit the individual Handshake TLD pages

101domain

101Domain is a well-known ICANN Registrar with one of the largest selection of domains found anywhere. They offer numerous high-touch domain services including brand protection and dedicated account executives. You can purchase Handshake domains on 101Domain at the following Handshake TLD pages

Gateway

Gateway is a domain registrar specifically built to support Handshake TLDs. In addition to supporting domain registration with credit/debit, Gateway supports domain registration with BTC as well. You can browse and purchase Handshake domains at Gateway.io — note that the newly launched TLDs will only be available after the Trademark Sunrise period.
