Six New Handshake TLDs Launched Through the Namebase Registry

Following the launch of .JS and .TXT, six new TLDs are available for domain registration: .API, .BASE, .C, .ZEN, .MKE, .GIN

Namebase has partnered with,, and to offer domain registrations for Handshake TLDs. The new TLDs are currently in Trademark Sunrise until September 1. During the sunrise period, only trademark holders can register Handshake domains on Encirca and 101domain. Gateway will support general registration after September 1.


Encirca is the first ICANN Registrar to integrate directly with the Namebase Registry and support Handshake domain registrations.
